rap has to be the highest form of musical expression.

i mean like, hiphop verses, can be masterful poetry if the rapper tried

and because now rap and singing go hand in hand in a lot of hiphop… like a song can move you lyrically and melodically.

hiphop background music can be enticing and grand, 

so those that say instrumental music is the most expressive, what if you rapped over the instrumental type music, then wouldn’t it take it to the next level right?

those that say some songs can say more in less words, well if done right, add a lot of less words and don’t you get an amazing product…

unfortunately rappers don’t take the opportunity to use hiphop as an art in the best way, a lot of the stuff is dumb and wasteful, or doesn’t have much substance, or isn’t artistic

but image if Langston Hudges could speak to rhythm… i think we would study rap lyrics in classrooms, it would actually take many forms of combined talent to make even decent hiphop music.

thats how i look at hiphop, and thats how i try to make it.
