i think its interesting how “black” doesn’t really mean much anymore
cuz theres like… different types of black.
theres those who still are in inner cities struggling everyday, a pretty large group
those who are middle class, integrated with everybody
oprah, michael jordan, tiger woods
and then the immigrants, which by the way…. African immigrants are the highest educated of all immigrants . that means, African immigrants are smarter than asian, european, everybody, but since they are African, they often have to settle with jobs that do not utilize their skills
and then even mixed people
and all these people, though somewhat united, are not completely one.
theres still awkwardness between classes, and the immigrants, and those who are mixed…
idk.
i just got to thinking because of music… if you look at African american music artists
-rihanna, nicki minaj, chiddy bang, theophilus london, taio cruz, all immigrants
rappers are no longer all from the hood since kanye west
i think its interesting the way “black” has shifted in the last… half a century
